Team Appreciation Days…
a theme that is so important to the culture of any business. It is our job as event professionals to create engaging events year in and year out for our clients. We have many clients who host multiple employee appreciation days each year, and it is our job to create new and exciting event themes to make sure each event is better than the last. For this Team Appreciation Day our client came to us with the idea of hosting an International themed event. Our team at CEU took this idea and ran with it, creating a high energy, international themed environment.

World Series Trophy
At the start of the event we had 500+ guests piling into our clients’ parking lot that we had transformed into an International Street Foods Fair. As guests entered, they walked under our 30 ft balloon arch, pennant flags, and paper lanterns and were immediately welcomed by the Atlanta Braves tent, where we had the 2021 World Series Trophy on display for photo opportunities. After a quick photo with the World Series Trophy guests continued under our pennant flags and paper lanterns and were hit by the mouthwatering smell of 8 food trucks cooking fresh foods from around the world. From Mexican Cuisine (Street tacos), Greek (Gyros), New Zealand (Meat Pies), French (Crepes), Asian (Egg Rolls), American (BBQ) and more, guests had an important decision to make on which foods they wanted to try. One unique element of this event is we worked with each food truck to offer half sized meals so that guests could try multiple food trucks throughout the event, so they were not just limited to trying one international themed meal.
Throughout the event guests were able to listen to energetic music provided by our DJ, Mariachi Band, and Heavy Hitters Drumline, as well as get their picture drawn from one of our caricaturists, compete in a mobile axe throwing competition, and get their photo taken at our green screen with a variety of international themed backdrops.
At the event we received an overwhelming amount of “thank you’s” and praises for the cultural experience. We look forward to creating a new event concept for this client for their next Team Appreciation Day, and look forward to the opportunity to provide an International Themed event for more clients in the future.
