About Us
At Corporate Events Unlimited, we create fun and memorable experiences for companies and communities all over Georgia, and around the US.
We are a full-service event production company who will take care of every aspect of your event from start to finish, and everything in between. Every detail is carefully considered so your event feels effortless—and fun!
Our team will work with you and listen to your ideas, never forcing you into a specific agenda or theme. We have 42 years of experience, a trove of creative ideas, and the commitment to creating a memorable experience for you and your guests!
We own and maintain all our equipment, which means you get reliable service and cost-savings. You can count on our experienced event managers and professional event staff to be onsite at your event, making sure the show runs smoothly. We take care of the logistics and production, giving you peace of mind and time to enjoy your event.
History
Corporate Sports Unlimited, Inc. (our parent company) was founded in 1980 by Don Whitney. We began by producing corporate picnics and team building events for businesses nationwide. Our customers quickly recognized our creativity, professionalism, and organization, so our business grew rapidly.
Soon, our corporate partners asked for our support with various health and wellness options for their employees. This led to us developing, designing, and managing fitness centers across the nation. Today, Corporate Health Unlimited (our sister division) specializes in fitness center management, consulting, and wellness programming for corporate clients. Currently, Corporate Events Unlimited produces hundreds of events annually, customized for companies large and small. We’ve planned and executed thousands of events over our 42 years of experience, from team building events, picnics, and conferences to destination management, incentive travel, holiday parties, and festivals.
Our Community
At Corporate Events Unlimited, we are a part of a bigger family that includes our parent company (Corporate Sports Unlimited), our sister division (Corporate Health Unlimited), and, more importantly, our community.
Giving back to our community has been an integral part of our business since we began in July of 1980. Over the years, our community partners have included The Bobby Dodd Institute, Good Measure Meals, The American Lung Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, United Way, Special Olympics, Books for Africa, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, American Heart Association, and others.

Brian, who joined Corporate Sports Unlimited, Inc. in 2012, has always had a strong passion for health and wellness, which led him to interning with Corporate Sports Unlimited from 2012-2015. Following his graduation from the University of Alabama in 2015, where he double majored in Business Management and Marketing, he started full-time as an Event Specialist for Corporate Events Unlimited (CEU), handling event production and logistics for many of our events. After working a couple of years as an Event Specialist, he was promoted to Account Executive where he was involved in event sales and production.
In 2019, he was promoted to Vice President of Business Development for both CEU and CHU, where his focus has been to support both divisions by bringing in new business, managing CEU client accounts, overseeing all marketing efforts, and finding new ways to bring our two divisions closer together. For 4 ½ years serving as the Vice President of Business Development he was heavily involved with the strategic growth of our two divisions, which included playing a pivotal role in the development our Wellness 360 virtual program, increasing our digital marketing efforts and sales leads, and helping create new revenue streams for both divisions. Since 2019, Brian has been involved in all operational areas of Corporate Sports Unlimited, Inc.
Brian has a strong passion for building a great company culture, and has an innovative vision on how to strategically grow and expand our service offerings in order keep CEU and CHU as industry leaders, as well as provide growing opportunities for all our associates. In July 2023, he was promoted to President of Corporate Sports Unlimited. In his spare time, Brian is actively involved with his church and community, and his passions include sports, CrossFit, all things outdoors, reading, and spending time with his wife, Savannah and daughter, Marley.

Born and bred in Goffstown, New Hampshire, this New England native attended Southern New Hampshire University where he earned a B.S. in Accounting and completed his MBA. With a knack for numbers and a talent for leadership, Brian dedicated his early career to the City of Manchester (Housing Authority and Water Department) before diving into the private school sector where he served as Chief Finance and Operations Officer.
Always a strategist focused on growth, Brian was persuaded to make his way down south to serve as Director of Operations. A natural leader and all-around likable guy, he brings structure, a quirky Northern accent and offbeat humor to the executive mix. His focus is on infrastructure, facilities, growth and management of the production team.
Brian currently serves as the Vice President for our sister division, Corporate Events Unlimited. In addition to leading our events division, he assists handles our IT and assists in our Accounting Department.

Johanna Isaacs previously worked at Corporate Events Unlimited from 2013-2018 as an Event Specialist handling the production for all our events. For the next 6 years, she combined her love of events and passion for non-profit work by working as a Development Director at a couple of National non-profits where she gained an entirely new insight into sales and client relationships. Now, we are thrilled that Johanna is back at CEU with her new role as an Account Executive where she will be overseeing existing client accounts as well as working to bring in new business.
Along with her passion for events and non-profits, she also loves her crazy, chaotic family life with her wonderful husband of 12 years and three beautiful little boys. On the weekends, they love to go hiking, fishing, travel, and most important, spend time together.
Johanna brings so much value to our company and having her back on our CEU team again makes us even more excited for the future growth of our CEU division.

Born in North Carolina but raised most of my life in Illinois. Graduated from Skidmore College in upstate New York with a Business Marketing degree and a Studio Art minor. My first job was with Bambergers ( a subsidiary of Macys) as a Department Manager. This is where I first met my husband Dennis. Then I transferred into their Advertising department where I worked in their Corporate offices in Newark NJ.
Dennis and I were married in 1986 and soon afterwards we were transferred to Atlanta to work for Macys South… Dennis as a Shoe Buyer and myself as a Sr Advertising Manager. Worked for Macys for about another 5 years until I decided to stay home and raise my two daughters… Kaitlyn , who is now a Assistant Director of Housing at UGA and Shannon, who is a VP and Creative Director at Abshire PR in Savannah. Decided to go back to work after the kids were in High School. I started working for Corporate Events Unlimited in 2009 as part time event staff. In 2010, I started working full time as an Event Coordinator with my main focus on Staffing and Event Production. After about 5 years, I went back to part time status and began working as an Event Director. A few years ago, I added on the responsibilities pertaining to the creative aspects of event planning….which I have absolutely loved…. I guess you could say that I’m CEU’s Creative Director!!! 😊Creativity is a key component of my life from creating centerpieces and decor looks for our events to painting and drawing in my free time. I also enjoy golfing and traveling with my husband, spending time with my family and my dog Darcy , and gardening.

Don Whitney serves as Founder, President and CEO of Corporate Sports Unlimited, Incorporated; Corporate Events Unlimited, Corporate Health Unlimited, The "WE Event Series" and the World Children’s Center.
Corporate Events Unlimited produces team building and special events for the nation’s leading companies. Recognized internationally for their “Battle of the Superstars” and their unique “Employee Appreciation Days,” Corporate Events Unlimited, Inc. also produces Tenant Appreciation Days, and Company Picnics. Corporate Events Unlimited, Inc. provides competitive team building games and special events which foster team spirit, camaraderie and fellowship to such clients as IBM, AT&T, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Coca-Cola, General Electric, Accenture, Pepsico and Xerox, serving over 2,000,000 people annually.
In addition, Corporate Health Unlimited offers complete design, consulting and management services to executive health clubs and spas in the finest office parks, public and private world headquarters, resorts and hotels in the country. Since 1981, Corporate Sports Unlimited, Inc. has opened, managed and served as consultants for over one hundred (100) properties, including such notable clients as Pebble Beach, Grand Cypress Resort, Hilton Hotels, Omni Hotels, Marriott Hotels, Coca-Cola, Trammell Crow, Rock Resorts in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and the Ritz-Carlton Hotels at Laguna Niguel, Rancho Mirage, Atlanta and Naples, and the Mauna Lani, Hawaii.
Don is also the Founder and President of the WE Event Series (formerly The U.S 10K Classic), a local, national and international sporting event, held each Labor Day weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. This road racing event (walkers, runners, inline skaters, cyclists and wheelchair athletes) brings over 200,000 people together annually from around the world. A Georgia 501(c)(3) non-profit event that benefits (100% of the proceeds) children’s charities. The U.S. 10K Classic was developed as a vehicle to bring awareness and funding to children’s charities, and for the development of the World’s Children Center, a planned community which will accommodate 800+ homeless, orphaned, foster and/or neglected children from Georgia, the United States, and the World. Since 1994 over $5 million dollars has been donated to 30 local charities that assist children at risk.
Whitney, a 10-year veteran tennis professional, worked with Sports Illustrated for RockResort Properties at the Dorado and Cerromar Beach Hotels in the Caribbean.
Don has been or is a member of and is active in such organizations as: Society of Incentive Travel Executives, Meeting Planners International, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Cobb County Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Club, Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, SHRM Atlanta (Society for Human Resource Management), and has served on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement, Special Olympics, The U.S. 10K Classic and the World Children’s Center. He is presently on the Board of Directors for the WE Event Series at the World Children’s Center. He has been actively involved with Compassion International, World Vision and Christian Children’s Fund since 1976. Don was honored by the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and the Atlanta Business Chronicle as the “1995 Small Business Person of the Year” and was a finalist in the 2002 Business Division for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. Don was selected as “Citizen of the Year” for the City of Smyrna, Georgia in 2010.
Don is married to Cathy (Executive VP/CSU) for 31 years and they have twin sons, Brian and Kevin. Brian serves as Vice President of Business Development for CSU/CHU and CEU and Kevin is an Associate for Genesis Capital in Atlanta.

Cathy Whitney grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and received her B. A. from Emory University in Political Science. She spent 15 years with Norrell Corporation, a staffing service firm, with 250 offices and $800 million in sales. She began in field offices with positions including Region Operations manager, then moved to the Corporate offices in Atlanta with roles including Operations Training Manager (for all operations associates in the U. S. and Canada), Marketing Manager, Quality and Process Improvement Manager, and Manager of Human Resources.
During the Atlanta 1996 Olympics, Cathy worked with Randstad, an Olympic and Paralympic Sponsor, to develop a hiring system for employees with disabilities. In 1997, Cathy joined Corporate Sports Unlimited as the Executive Vice President and Board Member for the U. S. 10K Classic and serves on the World Children’s Center Academy Board of Directors.
Cathy is married, with two sons and lives in a suburb outside of Atlanta.
