What do you do when you want to throw a beach party but you are two hours away from the nearest beach?  You call Corporate Events Unlimited and tell us to make it happen!  Surrounded by interstate, parking lot and office buildings, we decided to get creative with water attractions, beach sand and colorful décor.  The result was nothing short of gnarly!

When you are working in a parking lot for a beach themed event, the problem of the sand being too hot turns into the pavement being too hot.  We approached that challenge with a creative layout that strategically placed twenty-seven tents of various sizes in locations that would provide the proper amount of shade.  Misting and dry fans provided a cooling effect for those guests who did not want to go down the thirty-foot slide to cool off!  At the end of each water inflatable we made sure to include non-slip pads that offered a safe exit for our guests.  We also mixed in colorful umbrellas to match our beachy linen selections on the table that created a stunning overhead view transforming the parking lot into a colorful oasis.
The beach is all about excitement and fun, so we made sure to have ample opportunities of both for all ages!  Some guests chose to keep their thrills on the dry side by braving the 250’ zip line, climbing the 20’ tall coconut tree or swinging around our 60’ diameter chair swing.  Most guests though chose wet and wild by sliding down the 65’ long Dolphin Pipeline Slide or climbing 22’ in the air to go down either the Hidden Falls or the Laguna Wave.   For those guests looking to inflict as much water damage on their friends, we provided the Water Tag Arena where opponents could blast each other with super soakers!  For those who REALLY had a bone to pick with their colleague, we had two dunk tanks that guests could step into and be soaked for a good cause!
Before you think this was for older kids, and kids at heart, not so fast!  We created an entire “splash zone” for the little ones complete with six hundred square feet of padded flooring.  The zone featured splash pads and sprinklers of all shapes and sizes, and we even managed to find a friendly dinosaur to cool off the kids.  Did I mention the unicorn?  Kids seeking just a slightly higher level of excitement could slide down the double unicorn into the waiting waters below!

 

No beach event is complete with the proper amount of entertainment to create the feeling of being near the water.  Luau dancers greeted the guests on arrival and our roaming beach clown keep everyone entertained.  And to top it off, we brought a mermaid to the event to take pictures with guests of all ages!

 

For three fun filled hours on a Friday in June, a bland parking lot was turned into an oasis of fun and excitement!
